The founder of our breeding and riding stable, Franz Kotschofsky, has always had a preference for horses. At a young age he worked with horses on the fields and in the forests. In the 60s, he bought his own first brood mare, which started the beginning of the breeding stable.

In the 80s, Franz Kotschofsky joined the Oldenburg Horse Breeding Association. He continued to breed successful jumping and dressage horses as well as many state premium mares and licensed stallions.

During his lifetime Franz Kotschofsky was actively supported by his sons Klaus and Oliver.  Together they are carrying on the breeding stable in his interest. For years, foals, dressage and showjumping horses from our breeding have been marketed through the Vechta auctions as well as by us in the inner country and abroad.
